世の中にはいろんな勉強法があって小学校くらいの頃から自分に合った勉強法を探してきた。
小学、中学くらいまではノートに綺麗にまとめてそれを読み返すという勉強法。高校くらいからは、ノートにまとめる時間が無駄なのでは？と必要最低限のことはまとめるようにして、あとは赤い下敷きでノートを隠して見えないようにするとか、問題集を何周かする、教科書を読み直すという方法。そして、大学や社会人になってからも同じくノートに最低限だけをまとめて、問題集や読書などで賄う方法だった。
客室乗務員の訓練でのテストも、同じような方法をとっていたが、かなり時間が限られた中に知識を詰め込まなければならなかったので、とくかく反復したり、問題を解いたりの繰り返し。頭に詰め込むことを重視した。そして、実地試験もあるので、同期と問題を出し合ったりしながら、模擬練習をしながら、なんとか徹夜まがいの訓練を終えていた。
今は、もっぱら家事育児、仕事をしながらの勉強になるので、効率性をひたすら重視するようになった。
英語もコーチングもキャリアカウンセリングも勉強は、単語やよく間違えるポイントだけをノートに書き出し、それ以外は電子ノートや問題集に直接書き込む方法をとっている。また、スマホアプリを活用し、学習をデジタル化することで、時間や場所に縛られずに学ぶことが可能になった。
本やノートを持ち歩かなくても学習できるよう、5分や10分の隙間時間を活用し、歩きながらリスニングをしたり、YouTubeを活用して学ぶことも多い。AIを駆使したアウトプットも取り入れ、より効果的に知識を定着させるようにしている。
それぞれの勉強法にはメリット・デメリットがある。それを理解した上で、自分の生活環境に合わせた方法を選ぶことが大切だ。
電子化学習のメリット

デメリット

紙のノートに比べて記憶に残りにくいこともある：手を動かして書くことで定着しやすいが、デジタル学習ではその効果が薄れる可能性がある。

スマホやタブレットの誘惑がある：インターネットサーチやSNS、他のアプリに気を取られ、集中が途切れることもある。

アウトプットの機会が不足することがある：インプット中心になりやすく、実際に使う機会を意識的に作る必要がある。
勉強法は一つではなく、時とともに変化していくのを実感している。
大切なのは、自分のライフスタイルに合わせて最適な方法を選び、無理なく継続することだ。

There are many different ways to study, and I have been searching for a study method that suits me since I was in elementary school.
In elementary and middle school, I studied by writing down everything neatly in a notebook and rereading it. From high school onwards, I started to think that writing down everything in a notebook was a waste of time, so I started to write down the bare minimum, and then covered the notebook with a red writing pad so that it couldn’t be seen, or went through the workbook several times, or reread the textbook. And even after entering university and becoming a working adult, I continued to write down only the bare minimum in a notebook, and then covered it with workbooks and reading.
I used a similar method for the tests in my flight attendant training, but since I had to cram knowledge into a very limited amount of time, I just kept repeating things and solving problems over and over again. I placed importance on cramming things into my head. And since there was also a practical exam, I would exchange questions with my classmates and do mock practice sessions, and somehow manage to complete the training, which was almost like staying up all night.
Now that I study while doing housework, childcare, and work, I have come to place a premium on efficiency.
When studying English, coaching, or career counseling, I write down only vocabulary and points that I often make mistakes on in my notebook, and write the rest directly in an electronic notebook or workbook. Also, by using smartphone apps and digitizing my studies, I can study without being tied to time or place.
In order to study without having to carry a book or notebook, I often use 5 or 10 minutes of free time to listen to music while walking or use YouTube to study. I also incorporate output using AI to more effectively solidify my knowledge.
Each study method has its advantages and disadvantages. It is important to understand these and choose a method that suits your living environment.
Benefits of digitalized learning
Effective use of time: You can study while traveling or in your spare time.
Minimize the burden: Pick up only the information you need and eliminate wasted time.
Use digital tools: You can study efficiently using your smartphone and AI.
Easy to continue learning: You can naturally incorporate studying into your daily routine.
Disadvantages
It can be harder to remember than paper notes: Writing by hand helps to retain information, but this effect may be weakened with digital learning.
There is the temptation of smartphones and tablets: You may lose concentration due to being distracted by internet searches, social media, and other apps.
There may be a lack of opportunities for output: It is easy to become input-centered, so you need to consciously create opportunities to actually use it.
I have realized that there is not just one way to study, and that it changes over time.
The important thing is to choose the best method that suits your lifestyle and continue it without straining yourself.
