誰かが自分のうちに訪ねてくるという時、急いで家の中を片付けた経験はないだろうか。
我が家はよく子供が友達を連れてくるのだが、その度に綺麗にしようという考えが働く。でも一旦誰も来ない日が続くと、なんとなく掃除が疎かになったり、手を抜いてしまうのだ。
その違いは「人の目」だ。
人が来ると思うと掃除をする。人と会う日はメイクをする。家ではなく職場では仕事に集中することができる。etc
人の目のあるなしで、人の動きは大きく変わるのだ。
だから、何かを続けたいとか、変わりたい、努力したいなど行動を変えたいなら人の目を入れることはとても効果的だ。
私の場合、コーチをつけることで毎月の行動が変化するし、
子供達も習い事の先生やコーチでそれ以外の日常生活の行動も大きく変化する。
もし、自分だけでは苦戦しているが実現させたいことがあるなら、ぜひ人の手を借りて欲しい。
それが直接的なサポートでなくても、ただ見てくれるだけ、話を聞いてくれるだけ、会ってくれるだけでも影響はある。
