人生はお金と切り離せないものだと思っている。
お金で手に入れられるもの、できることはたくさんあるし、メンタルにも関わってくるものだ。その人の性格や生き方が現れるものでもあるだろう。
しかしながら、お金が全てではないのも事実だ。これは多くの人が納得してくれると思う。
コーチングではよく「リソース」という言葉を使う。
リソースとは直訳すると「資源」。コーチングでは自分がもっているあらゆるもの（経験、スキル、人脈、時間、資産など）を指す。
例えば、ビジネスで失敗して無一文になったとしても、それを行なった経験がリソースとして残る。経験以外にも、人脈や知識や仕事の物品、スペースなども残ったかもしれない。
それらが今後、その人の人生のかけがえのない資産の元となるかもしれないし、成功へ向けての糧になるかもしれないし、そういった経験自体はお金では買えないものなのだ。リソースはそういう考え方をする。
そう考えると、お金の枠を超えて私たちはに生まれた時からすでに
たくさんの資源に囲まれているのだ。
家族、友達、コミュニティ、健康な体、時間、経験、知識、スキル、住居、お気に入りの服やアクセサリー、車、日本人といったの国籍、仕事、趣味、お気に入りの場所、私たちの頭の中にある記録や思い出…
実感できない方もいると思う。
その場合、そういったものを全部をお金に換算したら、いくらだと想像がつくだろうか？
「あなたやあなたの周りの人やもの、経験等を
全部お金に換算するといくらになりますか？」
お金の価値、お金じゃ買えないものの価値、
リソースという自分や自分の周りにあるあらゆる大切なもの、
これまでの経験、そして、未来への希望。すべてを含むあなたがすでに持っているリソース。
そんなものを感じてもらえたら…と思う。

I believe that life is inseparable from money.

In coaching, we often use the word “resources.”
This refers to everything you have (experience, skills, connections, time, assets, etc.).
For example, even if you fail in business and become penniless, the experience you had will remain as a resource. In addition to experience, you may also have connections, knowledge, work items, and space.
These may become the source of irreplaceable assets in that person’s life in the future, and may become a source of nourishment for success, and such experiences themselves cannot be bought with money. That is how resources are thought of.
When you think about it like that, we are surrounded by many resources every day, beyond the bounds of money.
Family, friends, community, a healthy body, time, experiences, knowledge, skills, housing, favorite clothes and accessories, cars, nationalities such as Japanese, jobs, hobbies, favorite places, the records and memories in our heads…
If all of these things were converted into money,
how much would they be?
“How much would you be worth if you converted yourself, the people and things around you, your experiences, etc. into money?”
The value of money, the value of things that money can’t buy,
all the important things around you and resources,
all the resources including your experiences so far and your hopes for the future.
