個人事業主になりたての頃、名刺を作るのが楽しかった。
名刺を作ると自分という存在をしっかりと認識できて、自分だけのオリジナルの感覚もあり、自分の居場所も確保された気がした。
そういえば、客室乗務員の時に初めて名刺をもらった時も、とても嬉しかったのを覚えている。組織の一員と認められた気がしたからだ。
ただのカード1枚とはいえ、名刺にはそんな効果がある。
個人事業主になりたての頃は、肩書きややりたい事も色々変わったりしていたので、名刺もその都度何回かリバイスをしていた。それがとても面倒だった記憶がある。
そんな中、コロナ禍もあってどんどんオンライン化が進んでいくと、名刺を使う機会も減り、同時に作る機会も減っていった。
オンライン化が進むにつれて、ペーパレス化も進んだ。そして、その煽りを受けて私は名刺に細かな記載をしなくなった。今はちょっとした肩書きと名前とQRコードだけだ。
それも良し悪しかもしれないが、シンプルイズベストだと思うし、長く使うことができる。そして、そのQRコードから繋がるURLに入ってもらえれば、名刺に記載できる何十倍以上の情報を提供することができるのだ。便利になったと感じる。
そして、よく思うのだ。そのサイトの中に近い将来どんな言葉だったり、絵や写真などの自己表現だったり、肩書きだったりを加えられたら理想だろうか？
昔は名刺にこの肩書きや文章を入れたいと想像したが、今はデジタルで想像ができる時代。
「あなたは近い将来、どんな風に自分を表現できているのが理想ですか？」

Meanwhile, as the COVID-19 pandemic and the shift to online life progressed, the opportunities to use business cards decreased, and at the same time, the opportunities to make them also decreased.
As the shift to online life progressed, so did the shift to paperless life. And as a result, I stopped writing detailed information on my business cards. Now I only write a title, my name, and a QR code.
That may be good or bad, but I think simple is best, and you can use them for a long time. And if a user clicks on the URL linked to by that QR code, we can provide them with dozens of times more information than can be included on a business card. This feels very convenient.
And I often wonder. What words, self-expression through pictures or photos, or even titles would be ideal to be able to add to that site in the near future?
In the past, we would imagine putting this title or text on our business cards, but now we can imagine it digitally.
