就職・転職活動をしている方を見ていると、
就職はご縁であると同時に、
その人の「意思」や「価値観」がとても強く反映されるものだと感じます。
今、日本には約420万社の企業があるそうです。
そのうち、東京都内だと約40万社が集まっています。
この膨大な数の中から、
偶然目にした求人が気になったり、
誰かから紹介された会社を調べてみたり、
ふと興味を持った企業に応募してみたり…。
一見「偶然」に見える一つひとつの行動が、
実はその人の価値観や大切にしているものと深く繋がっています。
ある人は「安定性」を軸に選び、
ある人は「職種」や「働き方」を重視する。
また別の人は「会社の雰囲気」に惹かれて応募し、
その決断が大きなキャリアの転機になることもあります。
だから私は、就職・転職活動を見るたびに思うのです。
ご縁は単なる偶然だけではなく、
その人が選んできた日々の選択の先にあるものだと。
企業は星の数ほどあります。
でも、その中で「ここだ」と感じる場所に出会えたり、
「応募してみよう」と心が動く瞬間があるのは、
やっぱりその人自身の意思が働いているから。
そして、その意思がしっかりしているほど、
ミスマッチが少なく、
働くことに満足感や納得感を感じられるようになります。
もし今、応募先に迷っている人がいたら、
ぜひ一度立ち止まって考えてほしいなと思います。
「仕事で大切にしたいあなたの想いは？」
その答えが明確になると、「選ぶ企業」も明確になっていきます。
就職・転職は人生の大きな選択ですが、
同時に「自分を知るプロセスでもあるんですよね。

When I observe people going through job-hunting or career-change processes,
I’m reminded that finding a job is not only a matter of “luck” or “timing,”
but also something that strongly reflects one’s intentions and values.
It’s said that there are about 4.2 million companies in Japan.
And roughly 400,000 of them are located in Tokyo alone.
From this enormous number of companies,
we sometimes get curious about a job posting we happen to see,
look up a company someone casually recommended,
or feel drawn to apply for a company we stumbled upon by chance.
Each of these moments seems like “coincidence,”
but in reality, every action is deeply connected to a person’s inner values—
what they care about and what they prioritize.
Some people choose based on “stability,”
some focus on “the type of work” or “work style,”
and others are drawn to the “atmosphere” or “people” of a company—
and that decision can become a turning point in their career.
That’s why every time I watch someone go through this process,
I feel that career opportunities are not just coincidences,
but something that appears at the end of the path shaped by one’s own choices.
There are countless companies out there.
But the reason we suddenly feel, “This might be the one,”
or “Let me try applying here,”
is because our own inner intentions are guiding us.
The clearer those intentions are,
the fewer mismatches we experience—
and the more likely we are to feel satisfaction and alignment in our work.
So if you’re currently unsure about where to apply,
I encourage you to pause for a moment and ask yourself:
“What do I truly want to value in my work?”
When that answer becomes clear,
the companies you choose will naturally become clear as well.
Job-hunting and career transitions are major life decisions,
but at the same time,
they are also a powerful opportunity to understand yourself more deeply.
