何をやって何を省くのか。
その選択が成果や結果に現れてくると思うが、
ポイントとしては「目的に合っているか」というところだと感じる。
就職活動をしていても、
いろんな会社に100社応募したとて受からないという声を聞いたことがあるが、
100社というのはかなり幅が広いはず。
手当たり次第に受ける前に、
「何のために就職活動をしているのか。」
「将来どうありたいのか」
といった目的が明白でなければ、なかなか企業側には響にくい。
就職活動に受かること、だけではなく、受かってからそれ以降の未来をどうしていきたいのか、
100社受ける前にそのポイントをしっかり押さえておく必要がある。
仕事もしかり、目のためのタスクにばかり追われてしまうと、俯瞰して物事を見ることができないため、目的からずれてしまう時がある。
何かズレが生じたと感じた時は「何を目的としてその作業をするのか」という原点に立ち戻ってみること。
それを蔑ろ（ないがし）にしてしまうと、思った成果、結果が得られにくい。

I think that the choice will show up in the results and outcomes, but I think the key is whether it matches your purpose.
I’ve heard people say that even if they applied to 100 different companies during their job hunt, they still wouldn’t get in, but 100 companies is a pretty wide range.
Before applying to all the companies you can get, you need to have a clear purpose, such as “Why are you job hunting?” and “What do you want to be in the future?”, otherwise it will be difficult to impress the companies.
It’s not just about passing the job hunt, but what you want to do in the future after you get in.
You need to have that point firmly in mind before applying to 100 companies.
The same can be said about work. The same can be said for work; if you get caught up in tasks that are just for your eyes, you can’t see things from a bird’s-eye view, and you may lose track of your purpose.
When you feel that something is off, go back to the basics and ask yourself, “What is the purpose of doing that task?”
If you ignore it, it will be difficult to get the desired results.
